PM's shoe returned to Parliament House


Members of the Aboriginal tent embassy have returned Julia Gillard's lacking shoe immediately after the prime minister misplaced it in the course of her flight from a protest on Thursday.


The appropriate-foot blue suede shoe was handed to a security guard just outside the doorways of the main entrance at Parliament Residence on Friday night.


The shoe was thought to have been transported to Capital Hill by auto.


Ms Gillard missing the measurement-eight shoe when she and Opposition Chief Tony Abbott ended up rushed away by stability personnel from a Canberra restaurant exactly where they have been surrounded by Aboriginal activists.
